Hyoscyamine

Hyoscyamine is an alkaloid obtained from various solanaceous plants. It is the laevo-isomer of atropine into which it can be converted by heating or by the action of alkali.

Mebeverine Hydrochloride

Very soluble in water freely soluble in alcohol practically insoluble in ether. A 2% solution in water has a pH of 4.5 to 6.5. Store in airtight containers at a temperature not exceeding 30°.

Hyoscine

The following terms have been used as ‘street names’ or slang names for various forms of hyoscine: Burundanga. Soluble in water freely soluble in alcohol. Freely soluble in water and in dichlorometh-ane sparingly soluble in dehydrated alcohol.
